Searchlight Electric Ltd is a leading domestic lighting supplier to the UK and European Independent market and a key supplier to a number of household retail names across the UK.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a product designer to join our team in Manchester for 6 months + with the possibility of leading to full time employment.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative individual to design domestic lighting products in a dynamic and fast-paced commercial working environment.

Working closely within the design team and liaising with other functions such as Category Management and Key Accounts, you will play a fundamental role in the development of new lighting products from initial concept through to sample sign off.

The right candidate will preferably have either 1+ years work experience in product design or hold a relevant degree in this field. Sound knowledge of Solidworks and Microsoft Office are required –Photoshop /Illustrator & InDesign preferable.

Ideally you will be able to start work as soon as possible.

Requirement: 6 months +
Location: Manchester
